First of all, let us commend you for taking this big step to gaining control of your health and well being. It is normal to be nervous and not know what to expect will happen during the treatment.

Fear not! You are in safe hands at Key Detox. Here's what will happen. When you arrive, you will fill out the intake health and lifestyle questionnaire and discuss your goals with the therapist, who will make recommendations based on your desired results. The therapist will explain the procedure, give you a clean towel to cover yourself and ask you to undress (in privacy) from the waist down. You will lie facing up on the therapy table. With your permission, the therapist will massage your belly and feel for obstructions. When you are ready, the therapist will show you the disposable kit, connect the hoses to the machine, and guide you to insert the speculum . For the next 40-50 min a series of fills and releases of warm, filtered water will dislodge and dissolve toxic buildup inside your colon and eliminate it from your body. During this time, the therapist will continually check on how you are feeling and tailor the service specifically to your goals and needs.  

Most people report feeling light, energetic, and a sense of mental clarity after the toxins have been flushed out. However some people could temporarily experience increased gas, diarrhea, or constipation, nausea and flu-like symptoms. These symptoms are rare, but possible. Colonic Detox Hydrotherapy acts to release toxins from the body, which can cause a temporary increase of symptoms known as the "detox effect". 

To get the maximum benefit from your colonic detox, you may choose to have a chlorophyll or probiotic  implant added to any additional sessions, after having completed the initial appointment and assessment. We take a multi-angle approach to helping you achieve your health goals, and offer assistance with improving digestive health, and managing your diet and weight by inspiring you to make healthier lifestyle changes. We recommend you do not eat at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. Each colonic detox session also includes a complementary oral probiotic pill to promote healthy, balanced gut flora.
